This couple is gorgeous overload!! Abby & Andy had the most adorable engagement shoot in Downtown Des Moines — DYING over the roller skates & brightly-colored umbrella!! See what I mean??

Try to follow me here – you guys know how I’m the MOH in my friend Tena’s wedding, right? Well Abby & Andy are Tena’s aunt’s son & future daughter-in-law :) Wait – so that’s Tena’s cousin. Right. Andy is Tena’s cousin & Abby is his fiance who just so happens to be on twitter & super fun to chat with! I’m so excited to meet them at the wedding!

Thanks for posting this! We are honored :) Just so you know the back story with the roller skates/blades: Andy and I grew up in a small town where we grew up hanging out at a place called “Skatetown.” That, and Andy has been a hockey player his entire life. I wanted to combine the feminine, vintage roller skates with the masculine of the roller blades to feature our history & his interests :) Can’t wait to meet you in February!!!
